I know everything

Tonight at dinner Shara looked at alan's hedonism shirt and said between the picture over daddy's dresser and that painting (nymphs & sayre) pointing to it on the wall, I know about everything. I'm really wondering what that means.

It's funny hearing rather sophisticated words come from a young child but I think today she said if I hadn't decided yet, "I'd prefer..."

Shara and alan played in the sprinkler today and she was going to help with yard work, but somehow that changed to her coming after me with the super soaker. Got got her back good.

packed for Oma's

Shara went to Oma's for an overnight while daddy & I have a date night. Shara packed her own bag and I went over the contents with her when she was done. She packed: 2 pairs of underwear (as I had learned from Bubbe, just to be safe), 2 pairs of socks (again, just to be safe, but that was Shara's own idea), 1 tank top, 1 shirt, slippers, and that's all. We added something to sleep in, pants, though she joked she was just going to wear her underwear, toothbrush and toothpaste, brush, comb, and de-tangler. She did get her entertainment things though, including her charger. Personally, I think the charger is the most important.

Cupcake Camp 2012

Great picture from liz. She had fun with shara at the cupcake craziness, but it turned out to be the company that took center stage this year. The festivities weren't as spectacular as last year.We were commenting that there seemed to be more people and I thought there were more professional and well known bakers there too. I still have a couple of cupcakes to try; I promised a couple of the bakers i'd try them but was way too full to be able to enjoy anything. I'll still go if they have it next year, but hope they do more formal presentations and make it seem more like a fundraiser, like it did last year. A liz pointed out, they didn't even tell what lovin spoonful is.

So the cupcakes were mediocre but liz and shara were worth going for. First, the car ride there was bad. There was an accident on 93 that had us sitting in traffic for about an hour. shares m managed to entertain me though. She was so funny rapping and speaking like an english lad. The rapping continued for the ride to liz's and we also got a treat, shara sang us her memorial day medley she learned in school. It was fun and the three of us were silly and happy to share the time together. Ask shara what she was doing when we were riding to the cupcake camp together and she said, "that's what I'm talking about".
